Beginning today, the exterior soffits on the perimeter of the Student Center will be repaired and painted. Pending any weather delays, work is expected to last until Wednesday, May 4. During this time, sections surrounding the Student Center will be cordoned off. Please be cautious while in this area.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29, the Men’s Restroom located at the east end of 1st floor Ford Life Sciences will be closed due to repairs and painting. We anticipate the restroom will be reopened the first week of April. During this time, please utilize the restroom located on the west side of the building.
Plumbing and electrical have been restored to Reno Hall. If you notice any issues with either, please notify Facility Operations by submitting a Work Request.
The Reno electricity will once again be shutdown from 2:15 – 3:00PM today. Following this shutdown, power is expected to be at full restoration.
A high voltage contractor will be working in Reno Hall and will be shutting down all electrical service for approximately one hour beginning around 12:15PM. The electricity in Reno Hall has been partially restored. At this time, the restrooms are still out of service, so please use the restrooms located in Student Center. Repairs are ongoing and we will continue to update the University. Thank you for your patience.
The elevator interior upgrades to the Library Teaching & Learning Center will now begin on Monday, July 19.
A 12-hour steam shutdown in the South Tunnel is scheduled to begin at 10:00PM tonight, Wednesday, May 5. Repairs will last until approximately 10:00AM on Thursday, May 6. During this period, Student Center, Holden Hall, Shiple Hall, Fisher Administration Center, Reno Hall, Engineering and Quad Complex will not have hot water service.
The Fisher Elevator is now back in service.
The elevators located in Dowling Hall at the Law School and in the Fisher Administration Center at McNichols Campus will have a scheduled shutdown for packing replacements.
